Parade Application Info

The 2024 Halifax Pride Parade will take place on Saturday, July 20, at 12:00pm.

Experience the power of community gathering, celebration, and activism as a part of the 2024 Halifax Pride Parade. Enter your group to take part in one of this city’s largest community events, demonstrate your support for 2SLGBTQ+ equity, and help make the Halifax Pride Festival possible.

Halifax Pride appreciates all those who join the parade, but we work especially hard to ensure queer community members and groups are the focus of our parade and festival. 2SLGBTQ+ community groups and 2SLGBTQ+ not-for-profit groups receive free entry and are given priority placement in the parade.

Application submissions are CLOSED for the following categories:

  • Union/Political/Government

  • Large Business

  • Large Community Group/Not-for-Profit/Charitable Organization
