2021 HALIFAX ‘Halfway to PRIDE’ PHOTO PARADE

The Halifax Pride Photo Parade will offer community groups and festival sponsors an opportunity to share images from their 2021 Pride celebrations. The 2022 festival is getting closer, so to mark Halfway to Pride, we want to share your Pride celebrations with the community.

The album and reel of images that will live on our website, Facebook, and other social channels until this year’s parade in July.

GUIDELINES

Submissions can only be submitted by community groups and 2021 sponsors.

Photos must feature events, activities, individuals, and celebrations from this past 2021 Pride season. No prior year pictures please.
Halifax Pride reserves the right to use the photos on our social media platforms and other ways it sees fit.
Halifax Pride will determine the presentation order of the photos.
Photos must be received by 5:00 pm, Friday, February 4th.
Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline passes.
Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official submission form.
By entering, entrants agree that photos submitted can be used by Halifax Pride for print and online materials.
Please submit high resolution unpixelated images. Photos must be PNG or JPG format.
We encourage you to submit multiple photos (maximum of 3).
Landscape framing rather than portrait would be preferred.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

Photos must be provided via the Google Form LINKED HERE.
Photos must be submitted with:
- Organizational name for inclusion on the photo
- Name of photographer
- Short description explaining the scene/photo subject
