COVID-19 SAFETY AT HALIFAX PRIDE

This year, we have worked closely with the Province of Nova Scotia to offer the most COVID safe festival possible, while still allowing folks to gather in meaningful ways.

Our Operations Team has spent months developing safety protocols and plans that are in line with the changing public health regulations and restrictions. We know that things are constantly influx, and we are constantly updating our protocols to reflect that.

ENTERING THE FESTIVAL SITE

The Festival Site will be split into two zones - All Ages and a 19+ Beverage Garden. Each zone will have a capacity of 250 people. The 19+ zone will always require pre-purchased tickets, while the All Ages zone will only require them during our evening live shows.

GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

  • Enter through the designated entrance (either All Ages or 19+).

  • Present their ticket and ID (19+).

  • Complete a Contact Tracing form via your phone or a physical form.

  • Purchase drink tickets upon entry, if you wish to do so.

We ask that all guests on the Festival Site:

  • Sanitize their hands upon entering the site.

  • Complete the Contact Tracing Form.

  • Respect social distancing.

  • Stay home if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

COVID-19 QUESTIONNAIRE

To be completed by all Guests, Staff, Board, Contractors, Volunteers, and Stakeholders of Halifax Pride prior to each day of 2021 Festival. The questionnaire will be displayed on signage at the Main Entrance each day, as well as at any off-site events.

HALIFAX PRIDE COMPLETE SAFETY PLAN

In June, our Operations Team met with officials from the Province to review our full COVID-19 safety plan. The safety plan document is always changing, and will be updated as provincial restrictions change.

Halifax Pride does reserve the right to limit our capacities and events to a level that our team can handle, and may not increase as provincial restrictions do.
