National Rainbow Week of Action 2024
What is it?
From May 11th to May 17th 2024, the Society of Queer Momentum (Momentum), alongside partner organizations across Canada, is organizing a National Rainbow Week of Action to raise our voices to urge elected officials and governments at every level to take meaningful steps to address rising hate and advance equality for 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Canada.
What are we calling for?
Rainbow equality. A more free, equal and socially just Canada. For elected officials and governments at every level to confront rising hate and advance 2SLGBTQIA+ equality.
We are calling for individual Elected Officials to:
Complete our Rainbow Pledge in support of 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and rainbow equality.
Publicly condemn the rise in anti-2SLGBTQIA+ hate taking place across Canada.
Speak up in the House of Commons, Council Meetings or Legislature to urge action to advance rainbow equality and address rising hate.

We will supply all materials needed, you just need to bring your voice! Join us in urging Elected Officials to protect the 2SLBTQIA+ community.
