Halifax Pride Announces New Board of Directors

It is with great excitement and enthusiasm the Halifax Pride Society announces its new Board of Directors.

Nine of the current twelve directors were recently elected at the 2023 Annual General Meeting in October.

The new and returning board members have clear goals for the organization and festival. These include a full financial review, stabilization of the organization, recruitment of new staff members, and a community oriented 2024 Pride Festival.

Thanks to departing staff members

It is with both sadness and appreciation that the Halifax Pride Society announces the imminent departures of our two dedicated full time staff members, Adam Reid, Executive Director and Fiona Kerr, Operations & Communications Manager.

We sincerely thank them for their time and commitment to this organization and the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Adam and Fiona have been with Halifax Pride since 2017, and have worked diligently to improve and reshape the festival into what it is today. We know they are both proud of their work and will flourish in their future endeavours.
