Proclamation and Flag Raising

Help kick of Halifax Pride's week of activities at the Grand Parade starting with the recognition of contributions made by Nova Scotia’s LGBT citizens.  A reception at City Hall, hosted by his worship Peter J. Kelly, will follow the flag raising .

Queer Acts Festival

DaPride Cafe - By DaPoPo Theater DaPoPo creates live, intimate, socially engaged theater. They began presenting their CAFE DAPOPO event in 2007 and have been offering up Theater Menus with individually priced performances ever since. While patrons eat and drink, the theater-baristas serve songs, sonnets, monologues, rants, lectures, bed-time stories, strip teases, happenings, improv, ensemble numbers and pretty much anything else they can think of. With a spicy menu of queer, local and political material, DaPoPo is eager to serve and entertain.

No reservations require, although limited seating. $5 cover
